Client Profile

An international entertainment chain active in Europe and North America, with a spend of €4.8 million in Europe and €1.8 million in North America on their main food segment.

Project Scope

The sourcing project covered the full category, including raw materials, finished products, packaging, and potential insourcing activities. The scope included all relevant operations, with a focus on achieving cost efficiencies, collaboration , and added value.

Hudicor’s Approach

The project followed a strategic sourcing approach, starting with a thorough internal, market, and supplier analysis.

The category was broken down into components such as raw materials, finished products, and packaging, each assessed based on quality requirements and volume needs. Potential suppliers for each component were identified based on location, capabilities, and sustainability alignment.

After receiving RFx proposals, fact-based negotiations were conducted focusing on price, sustainable packaging and transport, and quality.

The project led to a more efficient sourcing setup, substantial cost savings, and future opportunities for added value through insourcing.

Savings of €1 million in Europe and €400,000 in North America were achieved while establishing in-house cooperation and improved supplier partnerships.
