Client Profile

This global company specialises in construction industry solutions. They operate in more than 100 locations and are listed on the American stock-exchange.

Project Scope

This company’s R&D lab has developed a sustainable alternative to a raw material used in the production of semi-finished products.

Their objective was to scale up production from R&D-level to a pilot plant, with the goal of being ready for industrial production by 2026, without investing too much capital in this phase.

To achieve this, our client wanted to conduct a thorough analysis of the global supply market, aiming to identify current market trends, market knowhow and competitors’ strategies. Another key focus of the project was to identify and evaluate prospective suppliers who possess fitting equipment to scale up production without compromising any intellectual property (IP) issues.

Hudicor’s Approach

We started off the project by conducting an internal analysis to clearly identify the equipment requirements. With that data, we drafted a list of selection criteria and conducted an external analysis to identify potential partners.

We identified several suitable candidates for co-production while ensuring safety of IP in foreign and local markets.

Hudicor identified suitable partners both on a global and a local level, while ensuring all selection criteria provided by the client were met.
